Exquisite piece of artifact made up of Sandal Wood completely handmade. This is one of the most difficult handicraft with lots of attention to detail work. The handicraft takes considerable more time to complete as very fine carving is required on with lots of carving. Even there are lots of parts which can come out or go inside the fan which is just exceptional. Just look at the detailing & it suddenly click all the right cords. The purpose is to give a breath of fresh air to all which is far better than regular perfumes & artificial fragrances.

âKrishna Pankhiâ: PM Modiâs gifts to Fumio Kishida
In a warm gesture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida, a âKrishna Pankhiâ, a sandalwood artefact made in Rajasthan with intricate work with its windows depicting different poses of Lord Krishna, epitomising love, compassion and tenderness.
Sharing details, official sources noted that the âPankhiâ is intricately carved with traditional tools and has a hand carved peacock figure at top, Indiaâs national bird.
It has a small âghungarooâ (small traditional bells) on its edges which move with the flow of wind and has four concealed windows with more intricate carvings inside.
The intricate carving on the sandalwood is done with precision by Jangid Family Churu Wale in Rajasthan, who carve the already impressive sandalwood artefact into a beautiful and elegant masterpiece of art.
This artefact is made of pure sandalwood, which grows mainly in the forests of southern parts of India. It has hand carving along with traditional âjaliâ designs.

How are the artworks packaged?
The works are packaged by the artist and follow a standardised packaging process. We confirm the packaging with the artist before shipping and take care to make sure the work is properly protected.
How long does delivery take?
After the payment has been processed, delivery takes 7 days on average, which leaves time for packaging and shipping. This may vary depending on the artist's availability, potential framing of a work and the distance between the artist's studio and your home. Whatever happens, we will keep you updated.
Who takes care of the delivery?
Depending on the destination and the size of the work, we use delivery companies such as DHL or UPS, or specialist art delivery companies.

If I buy several artworks, will they be delivered at the same time?
Each work is shipped by the artist. So if the two works are by the same artist, they may be delivered at the same time (under normal circumstances).
If they are by different artists, the delivery dates will be different.
However, if you have an issue and need them to arrive in the same place at the same time, let us know and we will arrange delivery accordingly.
Can I get artworks delivered to a different country or to a different person?
We will deliver to the address you gave on your order. Generally we set the delivery date with the person who will receive the work and whose name you gave. If it's a surprise or a present, let us know!
